Data source manager




Create, manage and visualize the use of data sources in a group of reports.

Create tab
The Create tab allows you to configure a new data source for the selected report group. When you activate a data source, a wizard will guide you through the process of creating a template and create an FTP location to load the data.

The selections you make in the Create tab will determine the initial fields that the template will contain when it is created. See Generating import file templates.

Description

Restart processing

Restarts the processing of the data source when it was previously stopped due to errors or warnings. Processing continues until the next error is found. The processing of the data source files is stopped only if Stop Processing is selected if there are errors.

Complete processing

Tells the data source system to close all open visits in the file and complete the processing of the data source file as if it were complete. This is useful when you have visits that span multiple data source files. This only concerns the entire Processing.

Deactivate

When a data source is disabled, it is removed from the system. If any of the files had already been processed on the server, the processing will continue until the end. Files that have not yet begun to be processed will be ignored.

Stop processing if there are errors / warnings

Tells the data source processing engine to stop processing if it finds an error. Processing of the data source will not resume until the user selects Restart processing. The option Stop processing if there are warnings only concerns the entire processing.

When the data sources encounter a file error, they notify you. The system moves the data source file that has the error to a folder called files_with_errors of the FTP server. When you have resolved the problem, resend the data source file for processing by the system.

Set up

It allows to modify the template or other specific options of the data source.

FTP information

It shows the information of the data source referred to the FTP connection. Use this information to access the data source template and send the data.

Name of the loaded file

State

Current state of the file. It can be one of the following values:

Queued (step 1 of 3): the file exists, but has not begun to process. If the file does not appear in the next 30 minutes, verify that the corresponding .fin file is present.
Preparation (step 2 of 3): the system is checking the file for errors or warnings.
Processing (step 3 of 3): the system is processing the file.
Failed: the file has not been processed due to errors.
Success: the file has been completely processed.
File Registration Tab
The file registry includes a search function that allows you to search for information by name of data source, type of data source, file name, date of receipt or status.
