Adobe CS is a suite of different applications in the form of workshops and studios endowed with highly professional tools and functions created and produced by Adobe Systems and aimed at printed publications, web publishing, video postproduction and mobile devices.

Adobe Creative Suite was born from the successful attempt of the Adobe house to unite all of its professional programs (which previously could only be acquired individually) in different sets of professional utilities that fit the type of user. This ingenious union of its products in sets has given very good results for Adobe in recent years, however, the company continues to sell its products also individually.

The application of Adobe Creative Suite is seen, most notably, in advertising agencies and publishers of very high and recognized prestige.

In April 2013, he was succeeded by Adobe Creative Cloud.

All the aforementioned collections have the applications selected for their use, but by default they also contain the Adobe Bridge application, which is a media manager for navigating, exploring and locating different files known as "Materials" and visualizing them without the need to execute the corresponding Adobe application.

Adobe Version Cue and project management
Adobe Version Cue is an innovative feature set designed to increase productivity whether working alone or on existing workgroups for Adobe Creative Suite components (including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe GoLive, Adobe Flash, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Fireworks, Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Bridge). You can also work with Version Cue in Adobe InCopy.

Version Cue simplifies the following tasks in Adobe Creative Suite:

The creation of historical versions and branched alternatives of your files.
The maintenance of security levels for the files.
The organization of the files in private or shared projects.
The exploration of thumbnails of archives, as well as the search of information of the file and comments of the version.
The review of information, comments and the status of the files in private and shared projects while examining them.
In addition, you can use Version Cue Workspace Administration to perform more advanced tasks:

The initiation and management of online PDF document revisions.
Duplication, export, backup and restoration of projects.
The display of information about the projects in the Version Cue workspace.
Importing files into the Version Cue workspace using FTP or WebDAV servers.
The elimination of batch file versions and file locks.
The creation of a list of users of projects and the definition of their privileges.
The restriction of access to a specific project.
Adobe Stock Photos
It was one of the exciting new features that were included since the launch of the Adobe Creative Suite 2 packages in 2005. Adobe Stock Photos was the most modern way to view, test and purchase royalty-free images from the major stock libraries. With Adobe Stock Photos, you did not have to interrupt the design process to search for quality images. Instead, from Adobe applications, you could use the search capabilities of Adobe Stock Photos to search and download images.
Acrobat

Directly from Adobe Bridge, from the Favorites panel of this application was provided a quick access to these stock images. With the computer connected to the Internet, just click on the Adobe Stock Photos icon to start searching thousands of available images. Due to the great integration between Stock Photos and the Adobe Creative Suite components, Adobe Stock Photos images could be downloaded directly into the Illustrator, InDesign and GoLive projects. From Photoshop you could open any downloaded image.

In the design process, you had the flexibility to try different images before deciding on the one you wanted. Adobe Stock Photos provided the option to download complementary versions (compositions), of low resolution, of the images that I was thinking of obtaining. You could work with the compositions until you made the final decision, at that time you could acquire and download a high resolution image.

At the beginning of April of this year Adobe Systems stopped providing this service, Adobe Stock Photos was discarded. According to the leaders of Adobe Systems: "Because they would dedicate efforts to other areas".

Versions of Creative Suite
Adobe Creative Suite is available in different versions, the most modern of them, CS6, is updated with the most innovative actions for Adobe applications and also has a very versatile interface to facilitate its use. In some cases the application changes almost completely, however, in its other versions (CS, CS2, CS3) the functionality of the application is more similar than in the case of CS4; In addition, the CS5 version implements new functions to Adobe applications, and improves the integration between them as well as with the applications purchased from Macromedia.
